  I originally was working with a competitor who wanted 50% payment, 5 months in advance and the other 50% when they arrived on site, prior to starting. I thought this was crazy so I started looking for other alternatives. R Broad came recommended to me by a friend so I had them out to the house. When asked what their payment terms were, I was told to pay them when they were done which sounded much more reasonable. Al Broad came out to take a look. We went over the project and talked about some of the coordination that would be needed. I was having a builder build a covered patio where he would be setting 6 posts in the ground and attaching a roof to my house. I had to make sure that we would have the correct layout for R Broad to add in a 450 sq ft stamped patio and stairs after the structure was built. Al left me with a quote within an hour. They were not the lowest cost but were competitively priced. They ended up coming 2-3 weeks later than I was originally promised but in the end, it was worth the wait. A crew of 5 guys showed up at 7:00 and were gone by 3:00. They were respectful of me and my property. They covered the lawn with a removable runway to allow equipment in/out without damaging the lawn. These guys were a well-oiled machine. Bob Broad was on site running the job. He asked detailed questions on how I wanted my stairs (#, width, length, square vs. angled, etc.), he relocated my downspout to be easier to access for my builder, he made suggestions on width of border, he helped eliminate a step to my garage and made the walkway look better. He ended up stamping my walkway even though it wasn't included in quote. In short, Bob worked with me every step of the way to get me a final result I'd be thrilled with. Structurally, they isolated the stairs from the rest of the pad and tied them right to the house, they put expansion joints at the stairs, at the walkway, at the existing pool concrete and double expansion joint at all of the posts. They put in extra items to ensure the concrete won't crack (in an unwanted location) in the future. Bob and his crew's attention to detail did no go unnoticed. If you want someone who is going to look out for you, the homeowner, and what's best for your job, R Broad are your guys. We are thrilled with the result and would highly recommend them for your next project.

  Have never worked with such a professional and bespoke company. Their approach allowed me to completely customize my projects. The driveway and patio ended up being a work of art and much better than I had envisioned. Bob took the time to ask the necessary questions, understand my vision and took exceptional measures to ensure the finished product exceeded all expectations.
